Week Fever

Flow over the weekend.

This weekend decided to take it for me, no appointments, no mobile answer was just for me. I am sorry to the ones tried to call and send messages, but I need it so badly to have all the energies concentrated.

Again decided to organize a bit better the workshop and put the hands on lab to create some nice wallets with all the type of patterns of fabrics I been collecting from Ireland, Portugal, Estonia and Barcelona. Decided also to use felt on them to give them a touch of softy at the same time. There is still some elements I need to buy but so far they look like this.

Who know me, is always listening I am always organizing something, doing something and never say I am bored. I would love to have more time for do the things I really like, so I am trying to do my best to make the most of my time. Is not a easy task, but you need to know how to distribute your time. A long time ago a good friend of mine just advised me to but a book called the 7 Habits of Highly effective people. I am still reading it. I guess I am a bad reader, started so many books and some of them I know I need to start all over and over again. Oh well the time will come! :)

Over this week, done some of the HappyLuckyCows earrings collection. Those ones I will only do 40 pairs, so you will be some only 40 people will walk with them around. They are really fun and I can guarantee you they will grab the attention of the more curious ones.

1st Workshop in MalaikaWear´s Studio

There is no words to describe how much I loved to spend the time with the girls and teach them how to hand sew a wallet. It was an excellent evening in great company. I hope this will be the 1st in many.

BCN LAB market in Barcelona. A bunch of girls excited to see what the independent Designers had to offer. I was attempted to buy everything, at the end just bought a backpack bag (what else). I just can help, I do love bags!

The market was very well organized and right in Passeig de Gracia, a really cosmopolitan street and the market was in one of the houses of Gaudi, Casa Batlló beautiful beautiful beautiful!!! A great day with great company!

I always loved markets, specially if you know before hand that is a second hand market and you know for sure you would find lovely stuff at such a small price! Bought 2 dresses, 2 skirts, pair of sandals and 3 bags for 22 Euros!! Those are just some pictures of the Flea Market just happened on the 17th of September in Barcelona.

Lately has been a crazy period of new things happening with the project of MalaikaWear. Decided to take MLK to a different level and teach others how to do simple things as wallets and other stuff. The first Workshop will happen on the 9th of October in Barcelona, within hours the workshop was full, with limited places available to make it more cozy and attentive.

So excited to give my first workshop here in Barcelona, which I have no doubt will be a success. Photos will follow after this great event.
